National Food Bank Day - 2024 Update

In September 2023, we hosted the first Little Flower Penny Dinners National Food Bank Day. The response from organisations was beyond our expectations, and since then we have been using much of the food to cook meals for the in-house service and also added food to meal packs that have been delivered through our meal-on-wheels service. 

Your donations truly made a difference in people's lives. We have received wonderful feedback from people telling us how much the food donations meant to them and what difference they made. 

 We are thrilled to say that the final food collected as part of our first Little Flower National Food Bank Day went out just in time for Christmas.

Just before the Christmas holidays we loaded up our vans and delivered the remaining food to local Food Banks in time for the holidays. The food went into making up over 300 food parcels for families in need.
