We were honoured to welcome Irish fine artist Joan Smith to the Little Flower Penny Dinners.

Joan generously donated a beautiful painting of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, created following the passing of her mother, who was a devoted follower of St. Thérèse. Joan is also the wife of one of our long-serving volunteers, Micheál Smith and it was especially touching to receive such a meaningful gift from someone connected to our charity.

Joan is a fine artist based in Ireland and has a unique gift - she was born with the ability to see “auras,” described as electromagnetic fields of light that surround all living things. For over 20 years, she has been reading and interpreting these auras, incorporating this extraordinary perspective into her artwork.

We extend our sincere thanks to Joan for her generosity and for contributing such a beautiful and symbolic piece to our building that will be seen by all our visitors and the people we serve here in our building on Meath Street.
