Bake Sale In Support Of The Little Flower

If you're in the area on March 22nd, be sure to swing by 11 Meath Street, where the Dublin Steiner School is hosting a community bake sale at the Little Flower. Whether you live, work, or are simply passing through the area, come join us for some delicious treats and to support a good cause!

Thank You To Our Supporters!

One individual who never fails to brighten our day is Willie Humphries!

Regularly, he brings in jars filled with coins generously donated by his family, friends, neighbours, and even his local pub in Coolock. What's even more remarkable is that Willie's efforts have inspired others to contribute, with some individuals from as far as County Mayo bringing donations to him when they're in Dublin. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Willie and everyone that has contributed.

Happy Birthday Billy!

In February, we celebrated Billy's 82nd birthday and he is still running around like a spring chicken.

Pictured here are Paddy, Kathleen and Billy - of course there is no show without Pat so we put him in the picture too! The three friends Paddy, Kathleen and Billy often make the most noise at lunch time and always fill the room with jokes and laughter.

A big thank you to Catherine's Bakery for generously providing us with pancakes on Shrove (Pancake) Tuesday! This cherished tradition has been ongoing for years, bringing joy to everyone at the Little Flower.

We're truly grateful for their continued support and delicious treats.

February Freeze Fundraising Sea Swim

We're thrilled to share the incredible success of the February Freeze Fundraiser led by Ken McAndrew for the Little Flower. Ken did an impressive 29 swims throughout February, raising over €5,000 for our charity and exceeding the initial goal of €1,500.

We're truly grateful for Ken's remarkable fundraiser and to everyone who donated. Thank you Ken, for choosing the Little Flower as your fundraising charity of choice.

Above is a picture from the fundraising event that took place on Sunday the 25th February in Forty Foot - a cold morning but plenty of people there to support us!

175 years Later And Ireland Is Still Hungry

It was in the week leading up to St. Patrick’s Day in 2022 when we placed a food bank installation in front of the The Famine Memorial to symbolise the daily journey thousands make to food banks and charities in Ireland. This video is still as relevant today as it was then.

Easter Is Just Around The Corner!

Wishing you a joyful Easter from all of us at the Little Flower Penny Dinners!
May this special day bring you blessings of hope, love, and happiness.
Thank you for your continued support!
